I love quotes and sayings. I collect them just like some people collect things like antiques. Sometimes I find that while I may have trouble knowing just the right thing to say, someone else's words are just what I am looking for. I hope you enjoy these "borrowed words" as much as I do. Check back every once in a while -- I promise to keep sharing my finds.

Henry David Thoreau

Happiness often sneaks in through a door you didn't know you left open.
A hug is a smile with arms -- a laugh with a firmer grip.
"The moment when you first wake up in the morning is the most wonderful of the twenty-four hours. No matter how weary or dreary you may feel, you possess the certainty that, during the day that lies before you absolutely anything may happen. and that fact that it practically always doesn't matters not a jot. The possibility is always there."
