A Glance Ahead

I often wonder what the future holds in store for Boy Wonder.  As most of you know, it hasn't always been easy for him, nor will it ever be, but as he grows older I am relieved to see alot of changes for the better.  His patience has improved, for one, especially with his baby brother.  The Munchkin has bore the brunt of his impatience and other issues and while I do not doubt their love for one another, there is always tension between the two of them.  Oddly (Thank You, God!) the same does not hold true for the Little Prince.  For the most part, Boy Wonder is unaffected by him.  The little guy's occasional over.the.top.loud crying fits in the family truckster put him on edge, but hey that holds true for all of us.  It's the way that he acts with his little brother during the course of the day that gives me a glimpse and a hope that Boy Wonder might just turn out A-OK after all.  And that my friends, is an answer to a mother's prayer.

I too worry, but more and more I'm hearing "I don't need any help, thanks".

Sweet photo...and I have a trying three year old who likes to take his impatience out on his brother too. It's challenging to say the least! Somehow, though, i DO think they'll be okay... :) THe question is...will WE??

I tell you, Courtney, there are days that I wonder what God was thinking when He made me Boy Wonder's mama! I don't know if I have ever mentioned it here on the blog, but BW was diagnosed as having Asperger's Syndrome and it has been a challenge to say the least. He may always have to work a bit harder at some things, but like I said in my post (God willing) he's going to be just fine.
